Weatherford have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Software Engineer to join the team in East Leake, Loughborough. This position is open to remote/hybrid working with only occasional visits to the office required.
The Software Engineer will design and develop new software for various wireline products and applications.
You will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of our suite of software applications used for the interpretation and analysis of geophysical data within the oil and gas exploration industry.
You will be working closely with a small but quickly expanding department that plays a key role within our global business. We develop state of the art software that deals with the full geophysical data lifecycle, from acquisition via hardware through to processing and interpretation and finally client delivery and is currently moving from desktop to cloud.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in all these areas of software development, ranging from user interface design to back-end data processing. You will be working on a range of innovative projects using the latest technologies and encouraged to find and leverage new technologies for the benefit of the software being developed.
