There are many towns and cities within a short distance from the home, with Merthyr within just 10 miles, and the vibrant city of Cardiff just 30 minutes away. As well as the towns and cities of the region, children can explore the beautiful Brecon Beacons, which is just a quick trip north where children can spend hours enjoying the breath-taking landscape supported by our team of carers. Ty Aelwyd is situated close to public transport links to Merthyr, Pontypridd, Cardiff and a wide range of amenities around the surrounding area. A day in the life of a Senior Support Worker with Orbis Education and Care Involves: Act as shift leader Assist in ensuring service scouring standards are maintained. Participating in the on-call rota. Assist in reporting and evidence gathering activities. Work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders. Participate in assessment, development and review of support and care plans. Promote and celebrate homes achievements.To be a successful Senior Support Worker with Orbis Education and Care, you’ll need: Experience in a support environment. QCF level 3 qualified or working towards Knowledge of statutory regulations. Lead by example and always act as a positive role model. Upload company policies and standards. Able to understand and adhere to relevant safeguarding.
