As a Service Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of IT services within our organization. You will manage a team of IT professionals, ensuring that service levels are met or exceeded, and that incidents and problems are resolved in a timely manner. Additionally, you will be responsible for IT service continuity management, including disaster recovery planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management:
Lead a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Allocate resources effectively, ensuring the team is appropriately staffed to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and project requirements.
Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify training needs to enhance team members’ skills.
Incident and Problem Management:
Provide timely incident management services, coordinating with relevant stakeholders to ensure swift resolution of IT-related incidents.
Implement effective problem management processes to identify root causes and prevent recurring incidents.
Work closely with technical teams to prioritize and resolve incidents and problems, minimizing impact on business operations.
IT Service Continuity Management (Disaster Recovery Planning):
Develop and maintain an IT service continuity plan, ensuring the organization is prepared to respond effectively to any disasters or disruptions.
Conduct regular risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify critical systems and define recovery objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement disaster recovery strategies, including backup and restoration processes.
Service Level Management:
Establish and manage service level agreements (SLAs) with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring service expectations are clearly defined and met.
Monitor service performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction.
Conduct regular service reviews with stakeholders to address concerns, identify areas for improvement, and drive service excellence.
