As a site reliability engineer you will be contributing solutions to complex monitoring, service management, automation, remediation and capacity management problems.
You will be developing bespoke in house tooling using a range of technologies
You will be building sophisticated monitoring dashboards using log data, monitoring and graphing techniques
You will be mentoring colleagues in use of new technologies or practices
You will be contributing to the evolution of team processes and approaches
You will need for the Site Reliability Engineer Position:
Knowledge of contemporary monitoring tools, techniques and best practice including Splunk, ELK, APM, Nagios, and Grafana.
Knowledge and experience of modern software development techniques and lifecycles eg. Git, Gitlab, CI/CD
Experience with automation and orchestration platforms such as Ansible and Jenkins.
Keen interest of industry trends, particularly DevOps
Excellent knowledge of SQL and programming languages including Javascript, Python, GoLang and PowerShell.
