About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our excellent Marketing team (family leave cover) in a busy and vibrant role with line management responsibility. As part of the Digital Marketing team, you will lead the operational management and planning of the Society’s owned and paid social media output as well as supporting day to day website content delivery.
You will play a key role in implementing our content strategy across multiple touchpoints as well as measuring the output.
You will focus on building effective communications and marketing to our target audiences, building advocacy amongst our stakeholders and managing colleagues to drive a first class candidate experience along the way.
You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with subject matter experts from across the society and you’ll develop a deep understanding of our short, medium and long term marketing needs to help implement the digital marketing roadmap.
We’re looking for a self-starter to take the lead, create and manage new and inspiring content across all of our social platforms. As our Society continues to grow, you will be instrumental in raising brand awareness across the North East and beyond.
About You
Your background will be in Marketing and you’ll have a strong background in producing engaging written and rich digital content for business websites and social accounts, as well as a passion for content marketing. Previous experience of operational management of business social content and demonstration of impact is essential, line management experience is desirable for the role.
Your communication (both written and verbal) skills will be first class, with the ability to build impactful relationships with both stakeholders and target audiences alike.
You’ll have strong copywriting skills and solid experience of developing key messaging and narratives. Excellent digital and social media skills are a must.
The ability to take an insight led approach ensuring decision making is principle led/ evidence based/ outcome driven is essential.
This is set to be a busy role so experience of managing multiple projects of various sizes and with different deadlines will stand you in great stead!
