Our client is urgently looking for an experienced Solutions Architect to join their team based in Exeter, on a permanent basis. You will work closely with the IT Project Management Office (PMO), the Solutions team is heavily involved in the early stages of the project life cycle. Once requirements have been captured, the team provide direction based on solution feasibility in alignment with the overall IT strategy and business needs.
Reporting to the Principal Solutions Architect and working closely with Analysts, Technical Architects, Cyber Security representatives, 3rd Parties and Business Stakeholders, you’ll become a key player in realising common goals in alignment with the Enterprise IT strategy. You will be involved in a wide range of projects and will take the lead on project related tasks.
The role would be ideally suited to a current Solutions Architect, or anyone from an Enterprise/Technical Architecture background, Software Development, Systems Administration, IT Management or Team Lead background.

Solutions Architect – Key Skills:
Either a Solutions Architect, Enterprise Architect, Developer, Project Manager or Team Lead background
Been hands on previously – development or administering systems
A good, vast, technical background in technologies such as Windows, Unix, Linux, Oracle or any other
Strategic, able to talk to stakeholders
Able to devise plans and designs and get the ball rolling into action
An understanding or appreciation of Cyber security would be useful
