Our client, a reputable civil engineering contractor specialising in the water industry, is seeking a skilled Sub Agent to join their team and oversee a small group of divers on a challenging reservoir project. This is an excellent long term freelance opportunity to contribute to a vital infrastructure project and work in a safety-driven environment.

Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead a small team of divers, ensuring that work is carried out efficiently and to the highest standard.
Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to achieve project objectives and milestones.
Assist the Project Manager with associated paperwork, including progress reports, quality assurance documentation, and health and safety records.
Maintain a strong focus on health and safety throughout the project, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
Conduct regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards, implementing necessary corrective measures.
Foster a positive and collaborative working environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication among team members.
Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, maintaining strong professional relationships.
Requirements:
Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Proven experience in a similar role at sub-agent level, preferably in the water sector.
Strong knowledge and understanding of health and safety regulations and practices.
Valid CSCS & SMSTS
Demonstrated leadership abilities and the capacity to supervise and motivate a team.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
Proficient in using relevant software and tools for project management and documentation.
Valid driving license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
