You will work 38.5 hours per week which involves working one month of days followed by one month of nights in a rotating pattern. You’ll work 3 shifts one week, then four shifts the next. As a Support Worker, you’ll join the team caring for young people and adults aged from 13 up to 17 years and a young adult ward aged 18 up to 25 years. What you will be doing Supporting the Ward Manager to facilitate the day patient programme Supporting patients to complete meals (full training given) Working alongside the Occupational therapists and therapy teams to support the patients to become more independent Support patients on community trips and outingsWhere You Will be Working Location: Cotswold Spa, Station Road, Broadway, Worcestershire, WR12 7DE Cotswold Spa Hospital is a specialist eating disorder service located in Broadway, Worcestershire for young people aged between 13+ which offers both inpatient and day patient treatment programmes. It is situated in the picturesque village of Broadway, Worcestershire, close to the Cotswold Way. The service is for young people of all genders with an eating disorder, predominantly: Bulimia Nervosa Anorexia Nervosa Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake DisorderThe units have been specifically designed with the adolescent and young adult in mind. The interior design of the hospital is both contemporary and comfortable incorporating young people’s art.
