(System Reform Commercial Lead 6 months – 600-650pdy inside IR35 hybrid)
Our client are looking for a Commercial lead to work in a hybrid capacity 1-2 days onsite in either London, Manchester or Bristol.
As Commercial workstream lead for the System Reform programme you will be responsible for:
Management of the System Reform Commercial workstream, including running a virtual team and cross-government colleagues to align around common work packages and objectives
Working with Commercial colleagues to develop modern, agile procurement processes that support digital transformation at scale across government
Creating a joined-up approach across departmental and functional boundaries – including between the digital and commercial functions – in order to drive reform at scale
Providing regular updates to senior stakeholders, including the System Reform Steering Group
Engagement with cross-government stakeholders including Crown Commercial Service
Working closely with the Technology team to implement a Buy Once Use Many Times approach to tech procurement
Cross-government engagement including establishing and managing pilots of new ways of working in departments
Managing the implementation of work packages including an improved digital framework landscape and upskilling of Commercial and DDaT colleagues
This role requires you to:
Have a demonstrable understanding of – and experience working in – government
digital and technology procurement, including experience of working with the CrownCommercial Service
Have a deep knowledge of the current government commercial landscape, includingframeworks and contract management
Have experience of working in government digital delivery and digital transformation,including experience of collaboration with policy and operational delivery teams
Have experience of non-government procurement processes, and an ability to bring afresh perspective to government ways of working
Be a keen proponent of modern digital ways of working, and work effectively in amultidisciplinary, agile environment
Communicate clearly and influence stakeholders within and across teams andorganisational boundaries
Understand the bigger picture and impact of your work, plan strategically for the futureand be able to communicate effectively with senior leaders to influence futurestrategies and build strong interpersonal relationships, actively maintainingnetworks of colleagues to achieve progress on shared objectivesstakeholders, handling both quantitative and qualitative evidence to make decisions
