What to expect
Visibility Systems Team is one domain within the rapidly growing area of Systems Engineering in Body Engineering. We are responsible for the definition, development, integration, and delivery of complex direct vision systems such as: Window Cleaning, Moveable glazing and Rearward vision.
In this role you will lead the technical development of Visibility systems ensuring robust requirement definition. You will elicit requirements from stakeholders within the business and real-world customers through the data lake and customer insight events. You will share your expertise with the wider team improving our Body of Knowledge and keeping the team updated on process improvements within the business.
What you’ll need
In this exciting yet challenging position, you will be expected to design class leading user experience whilst ensuring stakeholder identification and requirement elicitation. You would have had exposure with verification and validation to assist the development system integration tests as well as system integration and harmonisation into the wider vehicle System of Systems. Due to the seniority of the position, you will be expected to lead and collaborate in cross-functional technical reviews of systems as well as leading team members and stakeholders to understand Systems Engineering methodology.
Knowledge, skills & experience
Essential:
Systems development, decomposition, and delivery through all stages of the Systems V cycle.
Detailed knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering through Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow toolchain.
Quality and robustness techniques and standards such as FMEA, P-Diagrams, noise factor analysis, and data analysis techniques to support this.
Development of customer facing systems with HMI elements.
