We are: looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced individual in a key role within our Finance Department, specialising in areas such as Finance and Payroll Management Information Systems, Digital Records and Facilitative Technology.
You will: be responsible for the smooth implementation of our new integrated system and for identifying opportunities for improvement in the delivery of a first-class Finance and Payroll service to the Conservatoire, and to design and implement solutions that promote excellence and efficiency.
You will work closely as part of the Finance and Payroll Team, utilizing available technology to ensure workflows, systems and processes are effective – reducing unnecessary complexities, whilst still meeting business needs.
You will be responsible for the system administration of the Finance and Payroll systems, as well as operationally responsible for ensuring the adherence to our Records Retention Schedule and GDPR.
You must have: or be working towards CCAB recognised accountancy qualification and hold membership of the appropriate professional institute or association. In addition to this, we are looking for someone with significant experience of working with Finance/Payroll MIS and other systems/ technologies to enhance a service
This is a fast-moving and creative environment which requires flexible and creative thinking as well as an ability to deliver to multiple deadlines.
The Conservatoire are open to appointing this post as a full time or part-time position (depending on the preference of the successful candidate). There will be a requirement to work such reasonable hours as are required for the fulfilment of the duties of the post. However, the working hours will be required to fall somewhere between 21 – 35 hours per week.
