REED are Exclusively recruiting for an expanding Chartered Accountants with offices in London and Ringwood. The company has 2 Directors and 13 staff.

They provide a full range of professional services across the two offices, to a wide variety of clients based mainly around London, Hampshire and Dorset, but also nationally and internationally. The clients vary, and some examples are medium sized private companies, professional partnerships, smaller family businesses and sole traders. The services they provide include auditing, accounting, corporate taxation, personal taxation, payroll, company secretarial and strategic planning and business forecasting. Part of their accounting service is to provide an outsourced bookkeeping solution for firms needing support.

They also offer corporate finance advice on areas from start-ups, flotations, management buyouts, refinancing and selling businesses, which the firm has been involved in.

Job Specification

– Managing a portfolio of clients; – acting as the main point of contact within the firm for clients’ tax matters;

– Building and developing client relationships;

– Checking and completing personal, partnership, and corporate tax returns;

– Explaining tax laws to clients; – tax planning; – liaising and negotiating with HMRC on behalf of clients; – dealing with complex tax issues and share schemes, such as EMI and CSOP;

– Keeping up to date with legislation changes; and – assisting with a varied range of services on an ad hoc basis within the team as and when required.

Requirement

– At least 5 years’ previous experience in a similar position;

– Essential accountancy practice background;

– Will have knowledge of all personal and business taxes;

– Must be CTA or ATT qualified.
