In order to match the demand of our growing community, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Teacher to join our PRU School in Reddish.
We have a fantastic learning environment which is supported by a bright and airy arena.
As a Teacher, candidates will support the education, attendance and emotional well-being of young people who are accessing a bespoke education plan which includes off site provision. Lone working may be part of the role, as well as taking ownership and co-ordination of aspects of the young person’s timetable.
Requirements before applying to the role:
This is an independent SEMH school situated in Stockport, based across two sites. The aim of the school is to encourage children to achieve and succeed personally, academically, socially and develop their self confidence that will enable them to cope in everyday situations and manage the transition from school to college or work environments. By rebuilding self-esteem and forging positive relationships, our pupils replace failure with success. Pupils range from the age of 5-18 years old.
With this in mind, we would love to hear from applicants who are passionate about working with young people who need support to make positive changes. If they are able to lead a team of peers with the same mindset, that would be highly beneficial.
