Salary: £24,775 to £34,937 F/T Perm Due to the success and the growth of our Vehicle Damage Apprenticeship Standards courses, we are looking for a teacher to deliver on our vehicle body courses and another to deliver on our vehicle paint courses. Industry experience is essential and teaching experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be given. Here s the standard bit: You ll be responsible for planning, delivering and developing teaching/learning programmes using a flexible range of strategies and learning styles; taking responsibility for your quality of teaching and related curriculum development that meet learner needs, whilst assessing learners progress in College or on work experience and devise assessment processes against highly personalised progress targets. What you ll need : – to be Enthusiastic, resilient and highly motivated and to have achieved Literacy and Numeracy to at least Level 2. You must have a Level 3 qualification or relevant NVQ (or equivalent) in Body repair or Paint repair with extensive industry experience. A Level 4 Teaching Qualification: Certificate in Education/ PGCE/Bachelor of Education is desirable but if not, it is an expectation that you achieve Level 5 Diploma (DTLLS) or equivalent within 3 years of appointment along with the relevant assessment qualifications IQA/A1/V1. You must also have evidence of current Continuous Professional Development.
