Teaching Assistant Role Empowering Learning is seeking enthusiastic, motivated Teaching Assistants to become part of the new September team. The chosen Teaching Assistants will have opportunities to work one to one, within a classroom and delivering their own group intervention sessions working with children from Early Years all the way through to KS2. They will be well supported by in house training delivered by an Inspiring and knowledgeable Senior Leadership Team. Teaching Assistant – Job Responsibilities Ensuring school rules are adhered to Working with KS1/KS2 students with mixed abilities including SEND Offering support and empathy to children requiring assistance Reporting health and safety issues on-site to the maintenance team to resolve Communicating effectively with teachers/children about any concerns or issues Risk assessing the environment and responding accordingly Observing behaviour, intervening and addressing when necessary, reporting any safeguarding issues through the correct channels What’s in it for you as a Teaching assistant Up to £90 per day depending on experience Rewarding role Term Time Only The chance to work within a friendly, welcoming school ASAP start A full-time permanent contract Team Teach training Redhill location Experience, Training & Qualifications Legal right to work in the UK First Aid Training (desirable) Subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, or overseas Police clearances (if applicable) SEND experience (desirable) Here at Empowering Learning, we don’t only offer excellent rates of pay and the opportunity to work with a consultant with the experience and ability to find you the perfect next career move.
