An market leading, innovative and fast-growing manufacturing business based in South Oxfordshire. This business has been growing rapidly and experiencing huge success in their market space. They are now looking for a Technical Author and Illustrator to join their their team.
Description
The Technical Author and Illustrator will be responsible for:
Play a pivotal role in designing 3D printer upgrades, focusing on design for printability.
Be responsible for the Printables account, including designing CAD files, hosting competitions and ensuring customers are engaged with.
Understand and maintain with company’s product portfolio and specifications.
Design product assembly guides, firmware guides, technical FAQs and other technical literature.
Profile
The Technical Illustrator and Author will have the following experience:
Must have 3D printing experience and experience building CNC machines and laser cutters.
Experience demonstrating instructions or technical information using CAD illustrations.
Previous experience with 3D CAD software
Good copy-writing and proof reading skills.
An ability to understand and create technical drawings.
Excellent communication skills with an ability to work collaboratively with other department members.
Job Offer
The Technical Illustrator and Author will receive:
Salary £28-32K depending on experience.
Hybrid working (3 days on site) in South Oxfordshire
