An market leading, innovative and fast-growing manufacturing business based in South Oxfordshire. This business has been growing rapidly and experiencing huge success in their market space. They are now looking for a Technical Author and Illustrator to join their their team.

Description

The Technical Author and Illustrator will be responsible for:

• Play a pivotal role in designing 3D printer upgrades, focusing on design for printability.
• Be responsible for the Printables account, including designing CAD files, hosting competitions and ensuring customers are engaged with.
• Understand and maintain with company’s product portfolio and specifications.
• Design product assembly guides, firmware guides, technical FAQs and other technical literature.

Profile

The Technical Illustrator and Author will have the following experience:

• Must have 3D printing experience and experience building CNC machines and laser cutters.
• Experience demonstrating instructions or technical information using CAD illustrations.
• Previous experience with 3D CAD software
• Good copy-writing and proof reading skills.
• An ability to understand and create technical drawings.
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to work collaboratively with other department members.

Job Offer

• Salary £28-32K depending on experience.
