Job DescriptionAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Writer needed to join one of the leading suppliers of sustainable heating systems. The position will see you supporting the delivery of all technical manuals and user guides for the UK market.Role Overview Produce high-quality technical literature for print and online publication within existing policy frameworks. Maintaining and updating technical literature to keep it up to date with product modifications and new product introductions. Liaising with the Head office and suppliers to obtain. Liaising with external agencies to produce schematics diagrams and detailed line illustrations. Maintaining Issue management log and technical documents list. Updating of the revision control spreadsheet. Production of finished artwork. Producing internal and external technical bulletins to ensure all product modifications are effectively communicated.Experience & Skills Required The successful candidate will demonstrate the following: Adobe: InDesign Autodesk: AutoCAD Microsoft Office Awareness of graphic design and the processes involved in print and online publishing. A clear and concise writing style An eye for detail Thorough and Methodical approach Copy-writing skills Ability to translate technical subjects into user-friendly content.Desirable Adobe: Illustrator and Photoshop QuadriSpace Publisher 3D Knowledge of British Standards, Building Regulation Approved Documents, OFTEC Standards, EU Legislation, MCS Standards and Water Regulations General understanding of the technologies involved.Salary :- £30K + 31 Days Hols, Medical Cover, PensionLocation :- Hybrid after full trainingCompany:- Our client is a leading supplier of sustainable heating systems, including HVO boilers, air source heat pumps, solar thermal.
