Telephone Operator – Full time – 3 months – £12.80p/h – Titchfield, Portsmouth

Parity Group are delighted to partner with our client, a prestigious public sector organisation, who is looking for Telephone Operators to work on an initial 3-month contract basis. This is a hybrid role based in Titchfield.

You will receive a competitive hourly rate of £12.80.

The Telephone Operations is responsible for collecting data that underpins statistics by conducting several telephone surveys with selected addresses across the UK. Telephone Operations is a busy, interesting area employing a diverse workforce of around 200 interviewers working varying shift patterns, including evenings and Saturdays.

I would love to hear from you if you are a committed person with a great telephone manner, with skills including:

• Excellent IT skills, proficient in Word and Excel and be able to learn new software systems quickly.
• Be able to follow detailed instruction to record data accurately.
• Be able to work independently.
• The confidence and professionalism to converse with a wide range of people with diverse backgrounds.
• Be able to persuade reluctant people to agree to be interviewed.
