The role
As Territory Manager, you will be selling our client’s market-leading surgical devices covering their ENT portfolio. You will provide demonstrations of the equipment to clinical staff within hospitals, carry out meetings with managers and provide after-sales support. As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for building relationships with existing accounts, but also seeking new business opportunities to increase revenue.
Responsibilities include:
Understanding the product portfolio
Presenting at workshops, exhibitions, and educational meetings
Delivering post-sales training and support for new and existing customers
Produce and deliver solutions and value propositions through presentations
Managing the sales lifecycle within the territory
Producing accurate and regular forecasts of sales opportunities
Analysing the market to identify growth opportunities
Identifying key stakeholders for the product portfolio
Responding to customer issues
Attending medical conferences and events
The requirements
You’ll have 2 years of experience in medical sales, ideally within the surgical sector, as well as
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is desirable
Experience in a field sales environment, ideally within the healthcare industry
Experience working with accounts from prospecting through to implementation
Strong sales track record and evidence of increasing the value of a territory
Demonstrate robust product knowledge and selling skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong negotiation and presentation skills
Passionate, enthusiastic and a fast learner
Focus on personal continuous improvement and development
Able to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as being self-motivated to work independently
Able to travel across the territory
This Territory Manager role is field based, with time spent in the office on an ad hoc basis. When permitted, you will be expected to travel to customers across this territory.
