Reed Further Education are working with a college based in Bordesley Green, Birmingham who are searching for a trades lecturer who specialises in refrigeration and air condition. The role will require travel to other campuses when required. They will be teaching to students on level 2 and level 3 courses.
The role is permanent full-time hours with 22 hours of teaching and the rest will be course admin. They are looking for the potential candidate to start asap or the start of the next academic year in September.

The primary duties, tasks and responsibilities of this job role are to;
Teach on all Refrigeration and Air Conditioning courses up to the equivalent of Level 3.
Responsible for planning and managing learning programmes.
Responsible for the management and tracking of the student learning.
Act as a course leader providing learners with academic support, meeting their vocational and educational needs.
Carry out the required assessments.
Classroom management and student behaviour management.
Keep up to date with Industry and education developments such as new technologies and T levels in order to ensure their smooth introduction into the curriculum.
What you will need
Hold a relevant level 3 qualification or advanced craft certificate.
Assessor and internal verifier qualifications desirable.
Experience teaching refrigeration and air conditioning up to level 3.
Teaching qualification or desire to work towards one.
