Our client in Winchester is seeking a Trainee Finance Administrator to join their team. This position requires someone who is well-organised, has an aptitude for figure work and is able to work as part of a team. This may suit someone who is at the beginning of their career and wants to work for an organisation that offers progression and a structured career path.
This is a full time permanent hybrid role, working in the Winchester office approximately 2 days per week, the rest of the week home working.
Duties:
Operation of client bank accounts
Updating and maintaining client data
Raising of beneficiary and third-party payments
Bank reconciliations on a daily / weekly / monthly basis
Liaising with banks to verify payments
Answer queries from colleagues, partners & clients and 3rd party bodies via the telephone or other communication methods
Producing quarterly income and expenditure reports
Assisting with the installation of new clients onto the accounting system
Assisting accountants with audits to allow accounts to be published within the legally prescribed timescales
Provide assistance and support with ad-hoc team projects.
