Are you a time served Apprentice with a Mechanical background looking to kickstart your career in a varied and hands-on Service Engineer role, for a company that will invest in your development through shadowing of experienced Engineers on the road?

As a Trainee Service Engineer, you will gain hands on experience in preventative and reactive maintenance on a variety of industrial ventilation systems. After sufficient training you will be covering the UK, playing a key role in the service team of an industry leading business with the scope to progress into a fully-fledged Engineer.

There will be 2 days a month where you will work on weekend days with very generous rates to massively boost your earnings. This role also offers highly flexible hours boasting a “no two days are the same” approach in this varied position.

This company are renowned within their niche industry for their professional approach and strong customer service skills. Since their start in 2011 this company has grown exponentially growing to nearly 50 employees company wide.

This role would suit a time served apprentice or similar from a Mechanical background looking to laugh their service career in a varied, field based role offering plenty of guided training to progress them to a fully-fledged engineer.

The Role:

• Servicing and maintaining dust and fume control systems in industrial environments
• Ongoing training through shadowing Engineers
• Travelling across the UK, 50-70 nights staying away required per annum
• 2 weekend days worked a month paid at a very generous overtime rate
• Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours a week with 33 days holiday

The Person:

• Mechanical Engineering qualification (NVQ / BTEC / HNC etc)
• Full UK driving license required
• Full right to work in the UK
