Reporting to a Wealth Management Director, you will be a natural proactive business developer and provide personal service to our clients, ensuring they receive accurate information and are advised on the products that meet their individual requirements and circumstances. In addition, you will support our senior consultancy team in providing technical wealth management support for the delivery of the Group’s key products and services to clients. STRATEGIC INFLUENCE • This role provides support to internal and external stakeholders to allow us to meet our strategic objectives.
KEY RELATIONSHIPS • Externally supporting the needs of clients through quality service and advice • Internally supporting consultants and CRM’s with collaborative working and delivery
PROFESSIONAL EXPERTISE You need a min of 2 years experience from within wealth management / financial services and be a natural business devloper • Level 4 Certification in Financial Planning • Qualified and competent to give advice o Adherence to compliance procedures and comply with the regulations of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) o Working within the rules and regulations set out by HM Revenue & Customs o Undertake all mandatory ethics and compliance training as required in a regulated environment o Able to research, analyse and interpret a diverse range of information o Good numeracy skills o Able to convey complex information to a wide variety of people with various levels of understanding both written and verbally o Exceptional attention to detail. o A good level of knowledge of relevant current affairs and potential impact on client issues o Maintain an accurate record of all development of skills, knowledge and competence required for the role • Committed to delivering outstanding client care. o Communication with clients in a manner appropriate to their level of understanding o Inspire confidence and trust in people o Possess excellent questioning and listening skills o Good negotiation skills • Organised and able to provide regular updates in relation to individual activity to enable team statistics to be provided on a monthly basis

• Consultant responsibilities o To provide technical and investment advice on all aspects of client’s requirements and wealth management planning o Create, build and maintain long-term client relationships, through quality of service and advice o Obtain a full understanding of clients’ current circumstances and provisions together with future aims. Research and communicate appropriate options o Communicate information to clients in a manner appropriate for their level of understanding o Provide clients with information on new and existing products and services o Review all clients on an annual basis and advise them on performance and any investment changes that are appropriate o Maintain own knowledge of current affairs and the potential impact on client issues o Explain the potential benefits and disadvantages of various products and services suggested to clients
