Are you an experienced Trainer with knowledge of the construction industry?
We have a great new opportunity for an L&D Trainer to join a small and creative L&D team. You will be working within the construction industry, responsible for training groups of site supervisors and managers.
This is a 12 month FTC to cover maternity, there may be a potential for the role to go permanent should an opportunity arise within this successful growing company.
If you have experience of working in the L&D field within construction or a similar environment and love to design and deliver impactful training, that increases technical and people skills, then this role could be perfect for you.
You will be responsible for maintaining the design and delivery of 2 key development initiatives – one programme aimed at construction supervisors and managers and the other aimed at behavioural learning for all people that manage others.
This Training role will suit a real people person who enjoys delivering training face to face, a typical training session will be delivered to 10-18 people at one time, therefore a confident and engaging approach is key.
You will spend a large amount of time designing and delivering high quality, impactful learning and therefore you should thrive facilitating and interacting in both virtual and face to face environments. Working with the wider people team (Resourcing and HR) to achieve results.

About You:
We are looking for someone who is a quick learner and a positive self-starter.
You will have L&D experience within construction or a similar sector e.g. logistics, transport, aviation as it’s important you understand the operational complexities of the organisation.
A creative, resilient, and pro-active approach.
You will hold a training qualification – Level 3 award in education and training or equivalent and other valid accreditations that are relevant e.g. MHFA, First Aid, Manual Handling would be advantageous.
