Established Insurance brand seeks to attract a business operations transformation specialist to join the senior management team in a senior leadership role responsible for the business operations and finance transformation strategy for the group.
Contributes to and supports the Group Chief Financial Officer with the Finance vision and strategy in relation to Operational activities
Change Leadership: be a decisive and fully engaged sponsor of critical work-streams – focused specifically on process transformation but also heavily involved in data and system work-streams
Operating Model – lead with the C-suite – the transition to the Finance Target Operating model of Finance establishing a Finance Operations shared service centre for the group
Responsible for Business Operations strategic deliverable and provides tactical leadership and support to managers in the Finance Operations team to achieve positive results for the business in line with Finance strategy
Drives performance through others facilitating effective planning, control and support mechanisms to ensure delivery of transformation objectives
BPO leadership – working with the Global BPO lead and Finance BPO lead to drive a best practice approach to project delivery and process excellence
The role will be predominantly a change and operations leadership role and this individual will be required to attend the Group Operations Committee
Provides tactical direction and support to operational management within own function/department or specialist teams to ensure that people, resources and processes are aligned with business needs and fit for purpose
Manage, resource, motivate, develop and focus the functional management team to ensure the required standards of performance and support the continuing personal and professional development of all team members
Work closely with COO and Chief Transformation Officer

Key criteria
Degree educated
Strong technical and organisational skills
Strong General Insurance knowledge and experience
Extensive experience in financial operations, with a focus on transformation leadership roles
Demonstrated experience in process optimisation, automation, and systems implementation
Experience of working in the non-life insurance industry
Strong business acumen and the ability to provide strategic financial guidance
Worked in an onshore and outsourced finance model with successful work experience with outsourced parties
Experienced in delivery in a transformation culture
