Lorien’s leading banking client is looking for a n additional UAT Tester!

This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of an expanding team working on a new project on an initial 6-month contract.

This role is Hybrid working with 1-2 days a month on site in Edinburgh.

This role will fall inside IR35.

This role is looking someone with experience with a variety of software testing methods, including manual testing, exploratory testing, and automation testing.

They will also have a strong understanding of software development life cycles and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Skills and Experiences

• Perform manual and automated testing of software applications.
• Identify and report software defects.
• Work with developers to fix software defects.
• Document testing results
• Stay up to date on the latest software testing trends and technologies.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in software testing
• Experience with a variety of software testing methods
• Strong understanding of software development life cycles
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
