CK Group are recruiting for a UV Chemist to join a Coatings and Resins manufacturing company based in Yorkshire on a full time, permanent basis. This role is offering a salary up to 40,000 per annum depending on experience. The client is looking for candidates who have experience with UV curing.

Responsibilities of the UV Chemist:

• Develop new resin technologies for the inks and coatings, adhesives, composites, and 3D printing markets.
• Develop material and formulation technologies and testing methodologies
• Plan and execute applicative testing of UV curable formulations used in UV curing applications.
• Formulation analysis for UV curable applications including competitor analysis.

Qualifications, skills and experience:

• Education: Masters or BSC in Chemistry, Science or related field.
• UV curing experience – essential
• Ideally experience in formulating industrial products, and photo-curing products would be preferable.
• Competent in Microsoft Office software and have suitable IT skills.
