Inmarsat is the industry leader and pioneer of mobile satellite communications, and we offer an unrivalled portfolio of global Satcom solutions and value-added services to keep people always connected – whether travelling on land, at sea, or in the air.
Our customers are found in many different sectors – but they are typically businesses and organisations that need to communicate where terrestrial telecom networks are unreliable or simply cannot reach.
We look for high-calibre, forward-thinking, energetic people with a “can-do” attitude. We want people who thrive in a diverse and challenging work environment, who are receptive to change and who wholeheartedly embrace the opportunity to take responsibility for themselves and the company’s ongoing success.
Primary role purpose:
The Service Assurance Systems (SAS) Group develop and maintain many software systems and applications which support the operation of Inmarsat services.
These systems and applications are at the heart of Inmarsat Operations Centres around the world. They are used by 24/7 network operations controllers, system design engineers, managers across Inmarsat, Value Added Resellers and Distribution Partners to monitor, measure and interpret network and service performance.
The Operational Portal is a web front-end, using a ReactJS framework, which provides internal stakeholders with a single-entry point to access the vast amount of data captured by the group and access monitoring and service assurance dashboards that the team is responsible for.
The incumbent will have ownership of both internal and external stakeholder relationships, working with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and third-party vendors. The direction he/she will recommend shall be aligned with business goals and strategies.
As the ReactJS Specialist, you will be leading the development of the user interface of the Operational Portal, ensuring it remains the primary tool for network monitoring and troubleshooting.
