Carbon Recruitment are working with an international Geotechnical company who are actively seeking a Wireline Engineer to join their Land Site Characterisation team based in Wallingford, Oxford. Responsibilities: Calibration and maintenance of wireline logging tools Perform wireline logging data acquisition on land, jack-ups platforms or from a vessel QC field data Process geophysical wireline data Produce field and final reports Assist with the production of interpretative reports Assist with the production of multi-disciplinary integrated reports Assist with the administration of the wireline department Contribute to and ensure that all process flows, documents and forms are maintained The ideal candidate will have the following: Degree or equivalent qualification in a Geoscience or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Discipline Experience in geotechnical investigation would be an advantage Computer literate in MS Office and prior knowledge of using WellCad software and slimhole wireline logging equipment (Geovista, ALT, Century) is an advantage.
