Responsibilities:

– This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a variety of fascinating projects. You will be developing prototypes and demonstrating concepts. At times, you will be providing research into completely new projects and illustrating in your research what can become possible. You would be instrumental in determining the feasibility of the work. You would be a good communicator both verbally and in writing, as you would be required to articulate to clients why information and research findings are relevant.

My client is looking for a Digital Forensics Research and Development Engineer to join their team based in the Bristol Area / South West. This role is with a company that undertake exciting Technology Research & Development projects for a variety of clients and sectors.

You would always be forging ahead and pushing boundaries and keeping yourself up to date with your CPD. Key Skills & Experience

• A thorough understanding of Mobile Networks and Protocols

• Software development using Python, C and C++

• Deep understanding of VPN’s, WiFi, Bluetooth and NFC

• A good understanding of Mobile Security Architectures, Trust Certificates, Cyber Security incidents and response

• eDiscovery experience

• Research and development project skills.

• Degree educated in ideally Electronic Engineering / Computer Science / Cyber Security
